The Governing Board of the Butte County Air Quality Management District (District) will hold a Public Hearing on December, 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Butte County Association of Governments Board Room, 326 Huss Drive, Suite 100, Chico, CA to consider the Air Toxics “Hot Spots” Information and Assessment Act of 1987 annual report of program activities. The annual report includes a summary of health risk assessments and identifies and assesses toxic air emissions from facilities within the District.

The annual report may be reviewed at the District office at the address below or at the link below.  For additional information please contact Riley Peacock at (530) 332-9400, ext. 107. Written comments on the annual report must be submitted by November 27 2025, to: Board Clerk, Butte County Air Quality Management District, 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 15, Chico, CA 95928.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Butte County Air Quality Management District (District) Governing Board is holding Public Hearings by Zoom as part of our regularly scheduled Governing Board meetings to consider adoption of the District's 2025-2026 Fiscal Year Budget.

The proposed Budget is below and on file at the District Office, 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 15 - Chico, CA, and is available for public inspection commencing Wednesday April 22, 2025.

The time and date of the Public Hearing set for adoption of the proposed Budget is Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Butte County Association of Governments Board Room, 326 Huss Drive Suite 100, Chico, CA.

All written comments should be filed with the District's Board Clerk, 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 15 - Chico, CA, no later than June 19, 2025.

The District will hold public workshops on Tuesday May 6th at 2:00 pm at the District office and at 5:30 pm via Zoom (Link to join: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86042830798?pwd=I432fqXAWbUpelIlAkH0TEh8MiehSl.1).

In addition to the Thursday, June 26, 2025, Public Hearing to adopt the proposed Budget, the District Governing Board is holding a special Public Hearing, to review the Budget and provide an opportunity for public comment on the proposed Budget. The time and date of this special Public Hearing is set for Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Butte County Association of Governments Board Room, 326 Huss Drive Suite 100, Chico CA.

Following the Thursday, June 26, 2025, Public Hearing and without further notice, the District Governing Board may adopt the Final District Budget for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year as the Board deems appropriate or take other action consistent with this notice.

The Governing Board of the Butte County Air Quality Management District (District) will hold a public hearing on March 27, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Butte County Association of Governments Board Room, 326 Huss Drive, Suite 100, Chico, California to consider adoption of the 2024 Triennial Air Quality Attainment Plan (Plan) for the Northern Sacramento Valley Planning Area (NSVPA). The NSVPA Districts have committed to jointly prepare and adopt a uniform air quality attainment plan for the purpose of achieving and maintaining healthful air quality throughout the air basin. This triennial update of the NSVPA 2024 Plan addresses the progress made in implementing the 2021 Plan.

The Plan may be reviewed at the District office at the address below or using the links below. Written comments on the Plan should be filed by March 20, 2025 with the District BOARD CLERK at 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 15, Chico, CA 95928.
