NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Butte County Air Quality Management District (DISTRICT) Governing Board will hold a public hearing to consider proposed Rule 509—Subject Research Fees and Hourly Rate. The District is proposing to increase the hourly labor rate annually on January 1st by 10% in 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030. The time, date, and location of the hearing is:

Public Hearing to Consider Adoption: Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., Butte County Association of Governments, 326 Huss Drive, Suite 100, Chico, CA and via Zoom.

Date of Proposed Rule Workshop: Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., Butte County Air Quality Management District 629 Entler Avenue, Suite 15, Chico, CA 95928 and via Zoom.
